This intensive, process-driven class is designed for actors who want to go deeper—into the script, the score, and the lived reality of a role. Over eight weeks, you’ll work on one role, guiding it from first read to fully embodied performance using professional rehearsal tools and in-depth analysis.

Our work begins at the table with script and score analysis, then steadily moves onto its feet through movement, voice, and rehearsal technique. You’ll build a repeatable rehearsal process that helps you uncover a clear point of view, make bold choices, and move from analysis to embodiment with confidence while experimenting with a wide range of daily exercises that unlock impulse, specificity, and freedom in your work.

This class blends practical craft with bold exploration—combining text, music, movement, and imagination—while giving you a rare chance to track your growth through recorded work from week one to week eight.

This is an advanced class. It’s ideal for actors who want to strengthen their rehearsal process, deepen character work, and leave with tools they can carry with them into future theatrical opportunities.

To hold your place, a $25 non-refundable deposit is required, with full payment due by March 6.

Attendance Matters
A quick note on attendance. This is an advanced course - each session builds on the last. Missing a class can make it challenging to catch up on material and exercises. I understand that everyone is busy and juggling many commitments so there is a place on the registration form to notate any existing conflicts. If you do need to miss a class, I’ll do my best to provide you with the material you missed, but I encourage you to make this time your dedicated space to explore and grow.

Waitlist

The nature of this class aims to give each student ample time on their feet working on the material. Because of this, the class size is limited to 10 actors. Once the class is full, a waitlist will be started in the event that a spot opens up.

This class is being offered as a pilot session and will hopefully have many more sessions in the future. For this first iteration, enrollment opportunities are limited to a small, invite-only group so I can refine the experience, respond closely to the work in the room, and build the class with care and intention.
